Sweeney Todd was...interesting. Creepy, but not scary at all. Just vaguely...disturbing. Haha. I wasn't expecting a musical, though.

I recommend going to the Buskers Festival over the next few days if you're in Chch. Especially the Aerial acts.

I have a little girl crush.

Ville's voice in this song gives me goosebumps. Of the good kind.

Ville Valo = best male vocalist of our time. I could only dream of achieving his level of pure awesome. Preferably with only half of the gay, but if it takes a steady diet of man milk to have a voice that luscious, then I'll go bi. That way that kind of amazing voice can be used to appropriately attract the ladies and dudes in equal proportion.

Well... maybe that's a bit too far to go. Maybe.

Sweeney Todd, if I'm not mistaken and could well be, was based off a stage musical of the same name. I liked it as well... but I was not too keen on the songs... None of them really struck a chord with me. I thought the movie would have been better without them.

Yeah, it was based off the musical. I have to agree though, I didn't feel that the songs fitted the movie, and they tended to annoy me more than engage and absorb me. Ah well, it was still pretty good.
