CSI season finale.
Nick survived.
Yeah. I cried. I'm pathetic.

I thought someone was supposed to die in that episode...

[identity profile] pythia.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:42 am (UTC)(link)
Apparently not.
Yay! :D

[identity profile] edgar.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:47 am (UTC)(link)
Someone did - it just wasn't Nick.

[identity profile] anarchangel23.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:01 am (UTC)(link)
I was sure I saw an add which said a CSI was going to die. Maybe it was for one of the spin-offs.

[identity profile] pythia.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:02 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. I try not to watch them. They're painful.

[identity profile] anarchangel23.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
I concur

[identity profile] rhinocrow.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
CSI Miami. I saw the ad last night. Damn Cyborgs of Death.

I heart CSI but I kinda didn't really like the episode. The pacing was very strange.

Ew, ants.

[identity profile] pythia.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:50 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it was strange.
I wasn't too keen on the bit where Nick was imagining that he had died. It took away from the feeling somewhat, and was a little too 'Tarantino'.

[identity profile] edgar.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:54 am (UTC)(link)
It was funny but completely out of keeping with anything else in the series. If I hadn't heard that it was a Tarantino-written-directed one I would have spent the entire two hours thinking 'what the fuck is going on?'

[identity profile] pythia.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:55 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, pretty much. It just didn't fit.

[identity profile] anarchangel23.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
In the middle i was thinking Tarantino had the pacing wrong and that it was too slow... but by the end I though he'd done it right. I liked it. That said, I wouldn't watch an entire series like that.

[identity profile] pythia.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:01 am (UTC)(link)
Agreed.

[identity profile] edgar.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:11 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps, though, it was meant to screen over two nights? I noticed in the credits that it had Grave Danger: Volume 1 and Grave Danger: Volume 2.

[identity profile] pythia.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:13 am (UTC)(link)
I noticed that too...
And I think it would have had much better pacing if it had been, actually.

[identity profile] anarchangel23.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 12:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah I saw that. That would have been lame. Definitely better as one episode.

[identity profile] edgar.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:01 am (UTC)(link)
I felt kinda cheated: 'that's not the show I know and love.'

Was still better than watching the Mothman Prophecies though.

[identity profile] dirtyfilthy.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 02:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, mothman prophecies really sucked ass.

[identity profile] rhinocrow.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
You know what else sucked ass? Yo mamma!

[identity profile] edgar.livejournal.com 2005-08-23 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
Now, now children...

[identity profile] dirtyfilthy.livejournal.com 2005-08-23 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah? Well, yo momma is so fat she's on both sides of the family!
