Facebook 'likes'

Okay, so I've seen some pretty horrendous Facebook likes/pages lately. Some of them are minorly annoying, eye rolling stuff, but some are seriously rage-inducing, I'm-deleting-you-off-my-friends-list stuff.

This was today's one.


Charming. The grammar, or lack thereof, is just a bonus.



"A girl crashed? its the man's fault, shouldn't be driving in the kitchen"
(WTF? Doesn't even make sense.)

And the worst three I've seen so far:

1. If you rape a prostute, is it rape? or shop lifting??


2. I stopped a girl from getting raped today." "How?" "I stopped chasing her." (This one had over 8,000 likes)


3. 9 out of 10 people enjoy gang rape!


Aaaaand now I feel kind of sick. I mean seriously, WTF? And people deny the existence of a rape culture.

i must admit to seeing the first one and having a slight giggle out of it cos it's actually happened to ME!

travelling with my dad overseas & ppl assuming he was my frigging husband or something equally gross! cos i'm, yanno, ethnic looking, and he's very frigging white.

haha, my dad is 60ish and his partner is 30 and is half Malaysian, and it was my brother that liked it. Hahahaa.

Yeah those are pretty horriffic. Especially those last ones. But seriously?! I have this thing for only liking "legitimate" things like... I dunno, my favorite directors and TV shows and books. Also, the groups with incorrect spelling and grammar make me want to throw things.

Yeah... I can't remember which like/comment in particular it was but there was a 'friend' request from one of the guys from high school which resulted in me remembering what an idiot he was (and obviously still is) and deleting him within a week.
