Argh. Studylink. ARGH.

So Nick dropped one of his uni papers. According to Canty, he was still full time.
And yet Studylink stopped paying him living costs.
After a bit of trying to find out what the lame was going on, he got in touch with Studylink.
According to Studylink, he needs 0.8 efts. He has .799.
No, they can't round that .001 point up. Yes, they know that Canterbury has him classified as full time, but they don't. No, there's nothing he can do except make a formal complaint. Yes, he'll have to pick something else up.
So after changing a 100 level paper next semester for a 200 level paper, he gets his .001 that he needs. And only had to add 6 points to his course load to get it.
Urgh.

That is so unbelievably stupid.
I vote we spam Studylink with formal complaints.

I'll add this to my list of things to discuss in my next meeting with Studylink's UCSA operations.
Right next to the bizzare fact that you can only apply for dental grants once every 52 weeks regardless of amounts (even though the individual cap is $300).

Wicked. :)
And that dental thing is just...yeah.
*sigh*
