(no subject)

The vet came out again this morning, and said Toki either has impacted colic (ie. a lump of food stuck in his intestines) or a small twist in his bowel (ie. ...well, a small twist in his bowel).
The former is good, since it's easily treatable. The latter is not, and if it is a twisted bowel, chances are we'll have to put him down.
Anyway, he seems to have perked up since being fed a few liters of paraffin oil (OMNOMNOM) which is a good sign, but other than that, we just have to wait and see.

In other news, I am currently a snot machine. Tasty. My whole family is sick with a cold/flu/cough/sore throat thing, and man it SUCKS.
Hopefully I'm better by Thursday, otherwise I could spread the plague to Wellington. Hmm...biological warfare between New Zealand cities? Sounds like fun to me! :D
