Breathe out.
You're on my mind,
spinning through fractal patterns
and muted tinctures,
light hashes across your face and
my heart
surface tension is all that holds me
quivering
and there's a storm on the way
The last golden leaf
from an austere autumn tree
tossed down the raging river of
stormwater gutters
your breath whispers richly
through the turbulent current of my
blood
distant lips and
satin sparks against my neck
drawing your blood with nails
and teeth
my muscles tense, trembling
riveted by your wide eyes and
pinned by your electric stare
I surrender,
yours alone
I'd traverse the skies
and slice my hands open on
shards of
starlight
for you
