Fuck I hate people who can't handle their horses or don't try to actually communicate with them.

I was just watching a vid on youtube of a girl (attempting) to longe her horse. In reply to a comment posted, she called her horse dull and lazy. From what I could see, he didn't look like that at all. He seemed like he was trying really hard to do what he thought she was asking him. But she was utterly failing at communicating with him, and just seemed to expect him to understand her verbal commands. He was confused, and it wasn't his fault that she was giving him mixed signals, yet she blames him for it. Christ it makes me angry when people don't make an effort to understand their animals. Riding and working with horses (or any animals) is a partnership. It goes both ways. You can't expect them to respect you if you don't respect them.
Arrrrrgh.

Bitch don't know how to lunge! Look at all those huge circles shes walking! But as long as you keep behind the horse and keep them moving forward you cant really go wrong. She seems to not understand that horses work on tone and not the words that you say! All my ponies lunge in a halter and from the voice, i don't even hold a whip.
Oh well, at least shes not an "expert" with rough hands or someone who sits heavily. That's far worse for the horse than getting a bit confused by an idiot who can't do proper groundwork IMHO
